Allotments - June 2011
Tucked away in the heart of Filkins, there is a newly established allotment oasis!
In 2011 the Ernest Cook Trust agreed to lease a pocket of land in the Village Centre to the Parish Council, so that allotments could be provided in the village. Fourteen allotments have been created and they were quickly snapped up by locals keen to embrace 'The Good Life'.
