On Saturday November 17th, 2007 the village held a 70's disco in the Village Hall in memory of Mike Clarke who passed away earlier this year.
The event was a great success and many villagers turned out in full 70's attire.
A raffle was held for some very 70's prizes such as lava lamps, a space hopper and even a Look-in annual! All the prizes were generously donated and the proceeds totalling £500 will go to Cancer Research as Pat Clarke's nominated charity.
