Lots and lots to tell the village about in the oncoming winter months.
Steak night continues as a great success story on each and every Tuesday night. We would still
love to see some new faces from the village though. Come along and enjoy your beautiful village
pub.
The Filkins Lunch club will be from now, a monthly affair, on the very first Tuesday of each
month. 2 courses for £10.00.
The Filkins Fillies and Broughton Babes will be pushing on through the winter and the opportunity
to leave hubby at home will be as appealing as ever. The second Thursday of each
month from this day forth. 3 courses for £15.
The quiz night " Who wants to be a £50aire" took a little bit of a back seat through the
summer but now those chilly nights are back we shall return to a full programme of trivia and
useless information. We have been delighted with the great support that we have received and
have really enjoyed hosting the event. Main meal for a fiver.

Aunt Sally has almost come to an end but with great success for the "under achievers" winning
their league comfortably. Congratulations to the boys.
The Festive Season
Lots of stuff we shall be organising for the month of December. Most importantly the pub will be
open everyday through the festivities. Offering a chance for a well earned rest from cooking and
entertaining duties!!!
Village Family night
20th December - details to follow
New years Eve will be a party to end all parties and we are hoping to have an event where as
many from the village can attend and enjoy a fantastic night of old fashioned fun and frolics.
